Mark Hinson

Vice President of Accounting and Asset Management


Mark is the Vice President of Accounting and Asset Management at Oakley Group. In this role, Mark is responsible for all aspects of accounting and asset management, including overseeing renovation and construction projects across the portfolio.

Before joining Oakley Group, Mark served as Chief Financial Officer for three operating businesses concurrently, including a 12-year tenure with a construction-related company. His broad experience also includes owning and operating a construction firm, working as a Certified Public Accountant, and participating in various real estate development ventures.

Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Mark relocated to Birmingham to attend Samford University, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Accounting. He has been married for over 20 years and enjoys spending time with his three children: Luke, Abigail, and Samuel.
